What is machine polishing?

Machine polishing is a popular method for achieving a perfect, high-gloss finish on the paintwork of your car. It is used to remove light scratches, swirl marks and other imperfections from the car’s surface, leaving a mirror-like finish that looks brand new.

Firstly, the vehicle is safe washed including the wheels, a full decontamination is carried out via clay bar to remove fallout, road tar and other contaminants off the paintwork and the vehicle is then dried with our microfibre towel. A single stage machine polish is then carried out to remove fine scratches and swirl marks, minor holograms and oxidation removing upto 70% of defects. The vehicle is then safe washed again and dried to remove polish dust and to ensure the vehicle is clean for the final protection to be applied. The vehicle is then wiped down with a paint cleansing panel wipe to remove all polish residue and surface oils. The paintwork is then protected with our spray sealant providing upto 6 months protection which will give the paintwork a smooth, glossy, glass like finish and to protect the paintwork.

What is ceramic coating?

Ceramic coating is a semi-permanent shield which bonds on a molecular level with your vehicles paint surface, introducing a crystal-clear barrier between your paintwork and nature.

Once applied, it will form a clear, protective layer which will protect the paintwork of your car from light scratches and swirl marks, ultraviolet sun rays, acid rain, bird lime and solvents. Moreover, once bonded to the surface of your paint, the ceramic coating not only protects the gloss and depth created by your professional installer, it actually enhances it! Once cured, the coating forms a dense, durable coating that protects the paint and retains a high gloss for years to come!

Not only that but it also repels water. This means that rain and all water-based dirt and grime will bead on the surface of your car and eventually slide off protecting your car from water marks giving your car a smooth and glossy finish for much longer.
